Dieuwke de Jong (1988) is a photographer who translates the stories people tell her into images. She prefers her photography to be raw, authentic and pure, and to be about things that matter.

Dieuwke’s work consist of portraits, documentary work and conceptual work. She puts a piece of herself into her work and takes time to build a connection with the people she meets. Dieuwke uses her camera as a means to connect to herself and others. People allow her to get close - and it shows her work.
